Alan is enjoying his 2nd year as "Artist-In-Residence" at International Arts Business High School in Brooklyn, NY. Besides teaching steel drums and directing the 26 piece steel drum orchestra, Alan is also writing most of the arrangements. The talented students at IAB, all of Caribbean heritage, are truly awesome!

In the spring of 2007 Alan was asked to become the Musical Director of Steel Passion, a dedicated 10 piece steelband of adults based in Tarrytown, NY. The band is associated with Christ Episcopal Church and also does many public performances.
